The DIO module has been designed to support the need for interfacing the Tempus VMDS or any PC based system to other external equipment i.e. handbrake switch, external sounders and light bars. It consists of a box with 2 x 16 line LCD module and a single USB connector and up to four 24V 3A Max rated isolated output switches (N/O) and up to four 12/24V isolated inputs (polarity dependent). The DIO is directly driven from the USB port of the VMDS.
