Versatile

Our in-vehicle computer Mobile Data Terminal has been specifically designed for the Fire Service by Tempus and incorporates many unique features for ease of use. Two display options are available; on for the Fire appliance and the other has been ergonomically designed for Officers cars. Both display options are driven by the latest Intel® Centrino™ mobile technology designed specifically for mobile computing with integrated wireless LAN capability and breakthrough mobile performance. Mobile Chip Set

The combination of the Ultra Low Voltage processor together with our own circuitry for display backlight shut-down, provide an overall system which can supply high performance when required, but yet consumes minimum power when not in use.

Printing on the Move

The Tempus In-vehicle Thermal Printer is designed to withstand harsh and extreme environments and provide protection against vibration. A robust steel enclosure incorporating a roll-feed paper system, houses the high-resolution print engine. The printer is a Windows based raster line printer, and therefore has no memory limitations. Unlike a standard printer, which requires your computer to transfer an entire page of data into the printers’ memory buffer before printing begins, the print process begins almost instantaneously.
